Having been on the Switch 2 exclusively for over a month, Linzner tells me that Fast Fusion has performed well on the console, earning the number one spot in Germany’s download charts. “We are so happy about the great reviews and fan email we got,” Linzner says, adding that due to the feedback Shin’en has received, it will support the game with more free content updates.
In the meantime, Linzner says the team has multiple other projects in development for Switch 2. He ends our interview by teasing that Shin’en will reveal one of these projects “soon.” Whatever it is, I can’t wait to see how it takes advantage of the Switch 2. If Fast Fusion is any indication, it will be an affordable and fun time on Nintendo’s latest console.
