Honorary 3 Stars Abound In Early 96

Preliminary: Absolutely beautiful music is getting me to push through an otherwise very strange situation. Everything about the Play is... odd. I am not sure where my bullets go sometimes, I am not sure how to tell if I will actually land on the tree branch or not, etc. But that music. That music is great. I can't claim the Sound is great though because the collection sound effect is way too loud.
I intuitively realized you can shoot down while jumping to basically glide. I love love love that. And Imma read the manual to be clearer now.
Well no. The game play is just too messy to be worth pushing through. Great music though, that might manage to boost it to an honorary 3 tho it really shouldn't.
Look: 7.5/10 I love it, but it isn't special for 96.
Sound: 8.5/10 I just listened to the overall soundtrack and if it weren't for the Play, shoot. Like this would deserve a 9 if it were just about the music, sadly the sound effects weren't great.
Play: 6.5/10 I want to give credit for the way shooting down allows you to sort of float, and it's overall a neat idea, but just super sloppy. And relies too much on the crowded-screen-for-difficulty.
Feel: 7/10
Attachment: 7/10
Overall: 7.3/10
