One of Insomniac’s few multi platform games. One of Insomniac’s few multi platform games. Its ok, certainly not a genre they excel at but its competent enough… Whilst I know this is a co-op based game, the game really suffers as a result when playing offline. I’m at the final boss and it has a one shot kill attack which is easy enough to avoid however the AI isn’t as quick meaning they go down and should they get a hit again they die and its game over through absolutely no fault of the player.
Reminds me a lot of the Berzerker boss in Gears Of War. The game had the same problem there, frustratingly stupid AI that gets killed. Although in that game at least that boss was quick. Here, the final boss is a gargantuan bullet sponge which takes a long time to chip away at the health.
