The farming life has gripped me, this is my fate now.
Been playing this semi-regularly to wind-down and it's been such a cosy and peaceful game despite how daunting it can be. My friends been guiding me through the game and it's been like having an old farm hand mentor show me the ropes.
I've been taking each task as it comes, learning the steps required to run a small farm, and I think I'm just about there now. I've started to landscape my own farm yard, I've bought all the tools I need, installed extra mods to make my farm as sustainable as possible, and I'm pretty comfortable with all the steps needed to grow everything from seed and to look after animals.
I'm trying to run my farm on solar and wind whilst producing local veg in my greenhouses. I'm logging my own timber to make new sheds and growing some grains to sell in the winter months. There's something really comfortable and relaxing about managing your own land and that's exactly what I need right now. The mods also allow you to explore some niche areas like hydroponics which I'm really interested in!
It's been funny making all the mistakes too, the amount of times I've tipped over is embarrassing now!
