It really pains me to talk so lukewarmly about Scarygirl because all the right ingredients are there. It's charming, it's original, it's got a nice little soundtrack and cute visuals. And yet...something is just missing to it, isn't it? It's just not...fun. It lacks any real motivation or drive to keep playing other than "beat the game". I'm not all …

It really pains me to talk so lukewarmly about Scarygirl because all the right ingredients are there. It's charming, it's original, it's got a nice little soundtrack and cute visuals. And yet...something is just missing to it, isn't it? It's just not...fun. It lacks any real motivation or drive to keep playing other than "beat the game". I'm not all that interested in whatever little story they put together or whatever. I'm sure the comic is much better, obviously, but this is really a shame. I will beat it, but yeah. For something so utterly up my alley in every way, even now and then there ends up being a dead cat in that alley.
