I really want to like this game; after all, it's one of only a few games that uses real D&D rules (3.5 edition). However, the game constantly sticks your party in these absurd scenarios where you're trapped and can't rest and have to battle an endless slew of enemies, always with some disadvantage or other. I gave up when, after facing a difficult battle where my party was stuck in quicksand and distracted by a swarm of flies, I then cannot rest and have to face off against an even more difficult battle involving a black dragon. Once again, I'm stuck in a web this time AND my whole party is blinded. It's too much. I'm sure that if someone maxed out their stats and managed to collect every magic item the game contains, they might manage to get through the endless slog of absurdly difficult combat scenarios. But I have no more patience for trying to figure this one out. I am a bit bummed to put time into it and get my party to 11th level only to have to let it go.
