Tried it out because it has Apple Watch support and I found the idea to interact with a game through notifications on my watch rather intriguing. Funnily enough it kinda added to the overall atmosphere, though eventually I mostly played it on the phone in the end. Interesting concept and entertaining enough, I'll play more parts of the series.

What a breath of fresh air for mobile gaming! Fundamentally a text adventure with (slightly) branching paths, the novelty lies in the fact that the game runs in real time in the background of your phone. If the main character needs to walk for a couple of hours, well, you're going to have to wait for a couple of hours …

Fundamentally a text adventure with (slightly) branching paths, the novelty lies in the fact that the game runs in real time in the background of your phone. If the main character needs to walk for a couple of hours, well, you're going to have to wait for a couple of hours until they respond. It's perfect for playing throughout the day in bits and pieces. I also found myself getting surprisingly attached to the protagonist as the game progressed. The writing is well done and frequently quite witty. All in all, a great little experience.
