Main game

The game had potential and some really great moments that made we want to like it more, but there were design choices and jank that held it back.
Positive: The art style and premise were great, along with some key story moments that hit hard. There were also a couple unique and fun gameplay mechanics such as the baseball and skating segments, but they were few and far between.
Negatives: The story was hard to follow, not due to complexity, but due to some of the cutscenes and narrative feeling unfinished or omitted. There would be times where I thought I had skipped a scene by accident when in reality the story had just jumped ahead without explanation. Also, for a rhythm game the story was lacking in rhythm-based gameplay. The arcade mode was better. A lot of the difficulty came from the screen flying around all over and being visually hard to follow in a bad way, rather than actual mechanics of play. Lastly the exploration felt too loose and hard to determine where to go.
Hopefully there are future patches to address these, otherwise I wouldn't recommend.
