liked this more than the base game , reminded me of the first half of the messenger which i really enjoyed more than the second half

This was okay. More of the same, so disappointing if you were expecting something different. Glad it was free and the last level was pretty interesting. It reminded me of Z Chaser from the Mega Man Zero/ZX collection, so if there is a multiplayer mode like that in a future update, I think that'd be cool.
