This game follows the Wadjet Eye formula of combining inventory items, the environment, and dialogue options to solve puzzles. But it omits a crucial part of what makes Dave Gilbert's games so good, in my opinion. The story has no supernatural element. It's simply a redemption story of a salesman finding tainted success in organized crime before making a paper-thin atonement to the father figure who helped him from the beginning. There is also no large mystery; rather the puzzles are ways of advancing the plot. The protagonist is a salesman and many of the puzzles are simply convincing people with sales tactics.

The result is an unmemorable game. I wouldn't bother unless you really like pixel graphics point & click puzzle games.

Refreshing point n click

A great short original adventure game with cool art, interesting situations, no frustrating puzzles and kick ass music. "Who would want to play a real state agent in the 20s" asked a steam review. Me. I do, what's wrong with people?

This was... terrible. Wadjet Eye puts out fantastic retro-style adventure games, but this was not one of them.
