God Eater 2 Rage Burst is an enhanced version of God Eater 2, adding new features and elements to the game. A new chapter titled "Rage Burst" is added to the story, featuring content separated into six difficulty levels within the main quests. Rage Burst introduces a new game mechanism known as "Blood Rage", which involves filling an Awakening Gauge by attacking enemies, and then making a pledge to the God Arc once it activates, granting various buffs to the player. Temporary invincibility can be toggled during the pledge selection process, at the expense of draining the Awakening gauge. The game also introduces new characters, enemies and weapon types. Probably going to put this on hold, possibly permanently. It was fun until all the Aragami just turned into damage sponges. Not a fan of missions taking twice as long just to artificially raise the difficulty and force me to grind out a bunch of gear.

I finished the main story today after around 150 hours. Only Difficulty 15 left, but it's the longest one. The final boss and the ending were cool. Way easier than Resurrection's, though.

I don't know if I will continue playing right now or give it a rest.

Main Story finished after 66 hours, although I guess there are a second story arc, as in God Eater Resurrection.

Pretty good until now. I liked the ending.

35 hours. There are less new zones and Aragami than I expected.

The game feels like an expanded version of Resurrection, both in a good and bad way. I love it anyway, though.

20 hours and I'm enjoying this game as much as I enjoyed the first one. I know it recycles too much from Resurrection, it's true, but I can't complain if I'm enjoying every second that much.
