Pass on this

Too difficult, uninteresting gameplay, I poured 3 hours into it and that is more than enough to know I don't want to put another minute into it.

This looks amazing! It sounds like they've taken the procedural generation path, but just for the overall galactic structure, while handcrafting all of the important things like quests, dialogue, events and other key details. This looks amazing! It sounds like they've taken the procedural generation path, but just for the overall galactic structure, while handcrafting all of the important things like quests, dialogue, events and other key details. Sounds perhaps like Mass Effect meets No Man's Sky. I really hope they do a good job on this one. :3 It's being developed by Daedalic and they've made countless incredible adventure games. Interesting to see a game like this, a kind of 3D open-ended space-rogue from a point-n-click puzzle/adventure developer. Perhaps that's what the genre was missing: that human touch, the storytelling and the craftsmanship instead of relying on RNG.

  • A living, procedurally generated universe inspired by beloved SF classics.
  • Completely freeform adventuring. It’s your ship. You’re in command. Enjoy the challenge and re-playability of roguelikes, with the depth and storytelling of modern RPGs.
  • Crew with real personalities, not just stats. Harness their skills, from archeology to diplomacy, but also share their excitement and stress as they talk about their adventures, argue over decisions, and find out who they truly are.
  • Hundreds of handwritten quests, from taking part in the galaxy’s greatest combat tournament, to raiding trap-filled alien tombs, to helping lead a holy crusade.
  • Discover and learn to deal with more than twelve alien races, from easy-going traders to completely inhuman species that need more than a translator for communication.
  • Master both tactical space combat, and the natural hazards of hostile worlds.
  • Be humanity’s ambassador. Prove that we’re ready for the stars.
