Genuinely a waste of time. I love racing games, so it had my attention. But my life has not been changed by playing it.

Things I want to do in Need for Speed Heat:

  1. Buy cars
  2. Kit out cars
  3. Drive my kitted out cars

Things I do not want to do in Need for Speed Heat:

  1. Deal with the narrative
  2. Listen to the terrible voice acting
  3. Race for rep
  4. Deal with cops
  5. Drift

Needless say I am not in love with the fact that …

Needless say I am not in love with the fact that parts are locked behind rep. Honestly, this game is probably not the best for me given the structure of the entire Need for Speed series and premise. That said, I haven't found another racing game that lets me kit out a huge array of cars nor is as fun to play because I need not worry about realistic physics or simulation style mechanics. All I want is a racing power fantasy with neat cars that I can make into racing monsters, without all the cruft that comes with this game.

Definitely an improvement from Payback in every way. Thid game is truly awesome, I enjoyed every bit of playing it. Some of the things I really liked was graphics, soundtrack, overal visuals and aesthetics, the fact that you have a choice between grip anf break-to-drift handling, car costumization (which was on point and even unbeatable for years now) and tuning which was truly impressive how every little detail mattered and how rvery part made a difference, noy to mention the engine swaps, though if they brought back the tuning from Underground 2 I'd be even more amazed. I got minor complaints about this game. First of all, the story wasn't bad, in fact it was great in mind, but not as good in execution, it definitely had potential, it could've been much better. Second, why is Polestar the amscot of the game when it literally appeared in only the first scene? And finally, choosing charavter in the beginning wasn't something I was fond of, I'd be much happier with playing as an already established character so that you can brcome more attached to the main characters and play a bigger role in the whole story. Overall, great game, would recommend checking out.

Wow, the driving in this game is weird! I know getting better parts is the point here. But man, it took ALOT of getting used to. Rivera should be fired, he can't tune a car to save his life. Only spent about an hour so far trying this out. But I think Ghost Games might want to give up on …

Wow, the driving in this game is weird! I know getting better parts is the point here. But man, it took ALOT of getting used to. Rivera should be fired, he can't tune a car to save his life. Only spent about an hour so far trying this out. But I think Ghost Games might want to give up on trying to add a story to their games and just go make Burnout games or something. Because so far, this story is B.A.D.
