We don't see a lot of these type of games... It reminds me a little of a mix of Ico, with less emphasis on the platforming and exploring and more on the fighting. It pulls in a lot of the story from Indian religion and I honestly did not understand most of it, but it makes for a unique setting. …

I made it all the way to the last boss, but unfortunately could not beat it.

Beautiful looking game with clunky combat

I really wanted to like Raji. As others have mentioned, this falls in line with their reviews. Beautiful scenery wrecked by clunky combat. Many bosses or enemies you feel like you shouldn't have connected and it doesn't, then they nail a bunch of hits on you. The final boss especially was infuriating where I felt like cheap shots were hitting …

Many bosses or enemies you feel like you shouldn't have connected and it doesn't, then they nail a bunch of hits on you. The final boss especially was infuriating where I felt like cheap shots were hitting me galore. Instead of a more rewarding final boss fight it was constant deaths from cheap shots. It's a sin to have a game I was hoping to enjoy have all the fun sucked out of it so badly.

Reminds me of a PS1 or PS2 era God of War. I like the Hindu theme and want to see more games that try non-western styles, but the combat is very unsatisfying. There is no real feeling of connection when the hits land on your enemies. The platforming also seems very imprecise and a bit dull. Wish I liked it …

Just stop and admire the scenery..

Raji is set in a rarely explored setting of Hindu mythology that definitely works in its favor, and offers gameplay mechanics resembling a Prince of Persia game on a budget. I really enjoyed Raji on a visual level, and really like its themes and setting, but spoiled by unwieldly combat and clumsy level design. The most memorable moments happen when …
