Funny by appearance, cool by gameplay, classical by inspiration.
It is just Worms. If you know it - you know it.
And it is good to play with friends, I guess... I don't have any but, anyway!

Tediously slow gameplay and endlessly frustrating controls. The other reviews must be fake because this game feels like it is half finished. Great concept, nice art, but the physics are sloppy and the interface is poorly designed, not at all intuitive. Could have been a great game with a few tweaks, but completely unplayable in its current form.

I think it's safe to say, after being a fan for years and having played - among the classics - Revolutions, Battlegrounds and now WMD that Worms WMD is clearly the winner and best Worms game there is.

Revolutions is cool and all, as is Battlegrounds, but Battlegrounds is basically Revolutions with more polish and shine, while WMD is in a whole other league of its own. The addition of the challenges, mission specific or otherwise, is really nice and adds to replayability (which is rarely an issue for me, but for most out there it probably would help) and I especially, above all else, love the art design. It's almost a mixture of 3d & 2d. It plays very modern while looking very classic.
Unlike the visuals for Worms Rumble, which looks like Team17 hired out the CalArts department to design their video game lol

I enjoyed Worms 2: Armaggeddon and Worms World Party. I also enjoyed Worms 3D but I didn´t enjoy Revolution and Battlegrounds so much. This one is back to the roots. It´s fun, it´s literally full of worms (up to 48 per match), it´s full of explosions and action. Thanks Team17!
