Look: 5/10 Exceptionally bland, even for TRS-80
Play: 5/10 I don't mean to always diss on TRS-80, but... having come from arcade games like Head On (which had this basic concept, with way more fun gameplay) and macrocomputer games like the PLATO RPGs, these are just so lackluster. I was actually excited for this one, since I figured an action game would overcome a lot of the issues with TRS-80. For instance, the maze is small enough that the "drawing the map" portion is FAR more tolerable than the early TRS-80 Dunjonquests ha. But still, the controls were incredibly clunky, the gameplay exceptionally simple, and the drive to play again to see if I missed something essentially nonexistent.
Feel: 6/10 I mean it certainly is an early at-home videogame, so it deserves some credit for that! Other than that, I will be sticking with adventure games, it seems, for early microcomputers of this era. Excited to get to the mid-80s console era with more platformers etc. I notice a lot of platformers coming up in the arcade realm soon, too!
Attachment: 5/10 Again, I feel bad because it's not like it's that horrible of a game. But it's just so mediocre and clunky, I definitely wont be returning to it.
