I managed to complete the first game but in Tokyo I ran into a terrible levelling issue where I had undergeared myself or something and grinding became impossible. Both releases in their current format are a single player version of the old MMO. I've had this on my playing shelf for a whopping 10 months without touching it and cannot bear the thought of playing it.
the world of Hellgate is kinda neat but the gameplay is not really. Playing a single player MMO was a bad choice but I had thought perhaps i could have finished what I had started about 12 years ago. Would have been satisfying to add to the played shelf but meh it is so not worth it.
