M1 BRC is a solid rally/racer from developer Magnetic Fields, released by EA in 1999. It has a wide selection of cars to choose from and 6 tournaments with a handful of tracks each, all with differing weather and time of day to keep it varied and fun. It's very simple and feels like a promotional game, with no music what so ever and basic menus with little to offer. However, the cars feel heavy and responsive and driving feels fast. The graphics are not the best but the tracks have charming details to them and races taking place during dusk or rainfall are actually pretty nice for a budget PS1 title. There's other racers that top this one for sure, but, a commendable effort to say the least!
