Cats in time is a game in which a bunch of cats have been scattered throughout various eras of time, and you have to find all the cats. That's it, that's the whole game.

It's a cute and charming casual game that plays like a mix of a hidden object game and a puzzle game. It feels a bit like it was made as a mobile game first (which makes sense, since it was), but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The levels are neat little 3D dioramas that you can spin around or zoom in on. Some cats are in plain view, some are hidden, and some are only revealed when you solve a (relatively easy) puzzle. Some of the puzzles give you an item which is needed for solving another puzzle, so there's some of the satisfying "puzzle unlocks another puzzle" interactions that you get from games like The Room, although significantly simpler here.

There isn't a huge amount of depth, but I still had a nice enough time.

Probably a great game for children. Unless those children hate cats, for some reason.
