Woefully average vert. SHMUP with XP based upgrade system for weapons
Game is overall quite average I find. Game is overall quite average I find. Graphics mediocre at best, shooting elements not bad and the vertical scrolling of the background is quite fast like Axelay. but not much variety in terms of enemies, their attack patterns. levels themselves uninteresting. No cutscenes or story. Music tinny and repetitive. I overall didn't really like the weapon options and found one that I preferred over the others and stuck to it. The weapon upgrade system is a new idea where you gain levels based on downed enemies, which in turn upgrades you weapon levels randomly level up to max. lvl. 3.

Overall a short and lackluster SHMUP that feels like it was pulled fresh from the arcade cabinet with fast scrolling motion and it's back and forth pacing that trades each time you are hit for a loss of one HP and current weapon level of whatever weapon you have equipped.

While not bad there are better and more interesting games out there for the SNES. This would have been possible worth an extra star if it had a more creative weapons system, more enemy variety or any other number off elements in which come off as delivered mostly mediocre.
