I finally got around to checking this out and couldn't hold interest longer than about half an hour. I realize this was mostly a just-for-fun project but it's still really rough... it's basically impossible to hit anything (guns or special weapons) the controls aren't terrible for the driving at least. The game feels nothing like the original that it's marketing itself to emulate. Music is okay (but not as fun as the digitized tunes of the classic hits), setting is uninteresting, upgrade system seems removed, no character portraits (just choose your vehicle at start), less cool vehicles/no upgrade system. In short, it's a cut-rate bare bones version of Rock 'N Roll Racing and is lacking in all the elements that made people fans of it. it's like the PC equivalent to a CD-i era type sequel to Zelda or Mario... It can only disappoint!
