A Worthwhile Expansion
This expansion to Wing Commander: Privateer is mostly more of the same. It provides a fairly lengthy storyline to follow and in general I found the missions were somewhat on the easier side than those in the original (fewer asteroid fields, perhaps?). This expansion to Wing Commander: Privateer is mostly more of the same. It provides a fairly lengthy storyline to follow and in general I found the missions were somewhat on the easier side than those in the original (fewer asteroid fields, perhaps?). This might be because of a slew of new upgrades available for your ship. The new upgrades are expensive but are all worth it (though now that I think about it, I never upgraded to the new gun offered in this expansion. I just stuck with my beloved tachyons and it worked out fine).
Mostly more of the same is a good thing, though, considering how much I enjoy Privateer. Between the original and this expansion, you can spend a whole lot of time having a great time in this game.
