Interesting Early Horror Adventure Game With Some Flaws
Preliminary: Very neat Look so far. Tho the music is a bit annoying (it's good but very halloween-y/horror-y in an annoying way, and I'm even playing the floppy disk version which I read has better quality music).

The gameplay so far is very good. Fast walking for an adventure game. Good Look. Straightforward system for commands for a graphic adventure (right clicks, then click, etc.) It's giving me Resident Evil vibes where I'm collecting items, hard to explain, and indeed the sound it makes when you pick up an item is EXACTLY like the RE menu/click sound, but also Silent Hill-y based on the Feel/what I think is the plot so far. Odd one this game is haha.
Yesss to the music and Look of outside (and the remark that it feels so much nicer out there while your house seems like a relic of the past, or of a dark future, hmmm)
Day 1
Lol hi Delbert, are you flirting with me? Love this Tim & Eric esque cut-out Look
All the music in town is great, the grocery store the library everywhere. I didn't fit in everything the guide told me to on the first day, hopefully I can salvage it.
It's definitely a very interesting game, and I love the Look of the Dark Side, but it's definitely of the lineage of "haha gotcha" deaths and such adventure games. Definitely worth a play some time, if you like adventure games though.
Look: 8/10
Sound: 7.5/10 Such jarring differences: some great tunes, and some incredibly irritating tunes.
Play: 7.5/10 Good adventure gameplay, but too much into the frustration and trial&error side of adventure games rather than the fun item retrieval side.
Feel: 8/10 Very interesting game and plot. I actually read the papers you pick up and whatnot, which is rare.
Attachment: 8/10 Part of me already wants to pick it back up and finish it after my 2nd death. I think if the gameplay were a bit less clunky (sometimes I had to click multiple times for it to register etc), and the music were more consistently great, I would have pushed through.
Overall: 7.8/10
