One Of The Better Atari Clones Of An Arcade Game
Look: 6/10
Mundane as all get-out heh. Like is that graphic King Kong? Lol. Isnt this released 1982? Wild. Nonetheless, as forgettable as they were, they were also functional and easy to look at, so I didn't hate them at least.

Play: 8/10 I thought this was just going to be another Donkey Kong clone. And I mean, tbh it is. It's literally the first stage. But I preferred the responsive controls of this, the select level design with where the ladders and gaps in platform are, and the execution of the level with the different controls and obstacles better than the original Donkey Kong. Now, mind you, I am biased in that I didn't really enjoy the original Donkey Kong. Plus, I found it difficult, more so due to controls than deliberate, slightly different game design. Oh, and it's always nice when an Atari game doesn't necessitate its manual heh, even for an inept gamer like myself
Feel: 8/10 Let's be honest, probly a big part of why I enjoyed this game so much is that I was actually pretty good at it. I was saving that damsel in distress left and right! Nonetheless, I can't highly rate what is essentially a clone game, plus a genre (platform and ladders or whatever) that I don't really care for much. If I would recommend one game of the genre I've played so far, this would be it!
Attachment: 7/10 While I had fun playing it, and always love a boost in my gaming confidence, how often I will be returning to early arcade/Atari platform and ladders games is questionable heh.
