This review is for the Nintendo 3DS version

Even though I last beat this 10 years ago, I still remembered most major twists such as what actually happened and the true culprit. I think that alone is indicative of how memorable the case is, intentional or not.

Replaying it was a whirlwind of emotions. I had a good time going through the story and most characters introduced for this case are really cool, but by the end I was filled with anger. I don't remember how much the DLC cost, but the fact I had to pay extra kind of makes it more upsetting.

It's the worst Phoenix has ever been. He's a lucky idiot and everyone around him he's more lucky than reliable and competent.

It's the worst Blackquill has been. Hiding info, embodying the dark age of the law, and doing everything to pursue that guilty verdict.

The true villain is a PoS that doesn't get the punishment he really should. Probably my least favorite conclusion to any case in the entire series.
