I can't take it. This is so thoroughly unenjoyable in every aspect, I'm benching it. I got stuck at what I would call the first real boss and just couldn't beat it. Maybe I'll come back to this when I run out of not awful games to play...

So I settled on this to play next, I guess it's kind of a metroidvania? It's cute so far, but oh my gosh, I was not expecting (or looking forward to) some of the (kind of) pixel perfect obstacle navigation. Plus the map sucks. Fingers crossed the gameplay gets better, it's off to a promising start.
