The gameplay and scaffolding difficulty through the quasi-puzzle platforming was great, each new feature being well explained and integrated in the coming levels. There were some later segments that got a little tedious, relying a bit more on luck or chance to get through. I was more than a little annoyed when having to redo a purposeful pitfall numerous times because the stupid prince kept faceplanting to the side of the mushroom platform I was aiming for, that's there to break his fall. At that point it's like, ok, this is just poor design. A number of the auto save points were placed a little too far back, which got frustrating having to repeat steps for no good reason. Some segments were just stupid and I had to look up what to do. All in all, though, cute game, fun time.
