One Finger Death Punch is a seemingly simple but satisfying challenge that may suffer a bit from repetitive design but has a lot of potential for fun and fast gameplay.

The game has a fairly simple premise - you are a stick figure with various combat skills that can be utilized with each mouse button (left/right) - hit at just the right time to fight a series of enemies running at you and battling you from both sides of the screen. Some enemies require multiple hits as well as a more dramatic brawl - though various dropped weapons and skills can give you the advantage

The game has a variable speed meter to challenge more apt players but still give those who struggle a fighting chance - on top of that there are various rounds that switch up gameplay, such as only using a specific weapon or fighting in a filter that obscures enemy types.

One Finger Death Punch is fairly repetitive - other than fighting potentially hundreds of enemies at a time over a large map of levels there isn't too much to offer down the line. The style is a slightly tacky vague Asian martial arts world with an unfortunately racist narrator, but the effects are fiery and flashy with a couple of catchy little themes that cycle when you lose/restart to keep the action fresh.

One Finger Death Punch is a quick and rewarding game that may have too much content and not enough design to keep up with that content, but it's fairly addicting and a blast when you get those combos down.
