I loved the "Easy to learn, hard to master." mechanics, borrowed directly form Zelda. The game has it's charm with simple graphics. This game must be played with a friend, and it's very entertaining. Looking around finding a way and using gadgets to climb is a great experience. The difficulty spikes a bit too much in the second level, but …

I think it's a gread idea to make the climbing mechanic as we know it from BoTW and other games the core gameplay of a coop game. It works suprisingly well! Great game for a few hours with your friends.

Played on PC. Fun with friends. Nothing super special but silly and fun. The effects on the in-game voice chat are comedic genius.

I had a blast playing this with my buds for about 10 hours or so. Once you've completed a run though, I felt I had "beat" the game and didn't feel the need to return to it. There's only 4 biomes, so once you've spent a bit of time in them and become familiar, there's not a lot of replay …

There's only 4 biomes, so once you've spent a bit of time in them and become familiar, there's not a lot of replay value. Mind you, it was a very fun 10-15 hours. It's decently challenging too, which heightens the feeling of peril later in the run. If the devs add content I will definitely return to it, a simple co-op rock climbing game is a novel idea that has lots of potential for innovation.

Since this game is hyped everywhere, I'm gonna focus more on the shortcomings.
The game features a "climb wherever you want" (if you have enough stamina) mechanic, and plenty of tools to help you. It's a fun mechanic, but it's made frustrating by a number of things:

I'm frustrated, because the core gameplay is fun and addictive, but because of the factors above, we were left with a bitter feeling in the end. Hopefully they'll add saves and checkpoints in an update.

You don't need me to explain Peak to you - odds are you've seen plenty of it. Despite the "friendslop" label, the game takes good advantage of having a team without needing to resort to characters or classes. You just climb with your friends to the top. Can recommend!
