Sure, I wish there was more voice-acting. And towards the end, there wasn't much left to do to the ship, as it began outgunning and steam-rolling every danger. If I go back and play the DLC, I'll definitely play on a higher difficulty, as the challenge of trying not to get wrecked by enemy ships, and not running out of fuel, but having to explore to get anything, was the most fun!
The best parts was when I found myself saying "well tribble-kaka, that last encounter broke half a dozen systems, I'm about to run out of fuel, the backup batteries are only half full, the crew are on emergency rations and OF COURSE, there's no food in this sector BUT maybe that unscannable nebula has some resources and not a borg infestation? Let's see!"
I also played it too safe some choices and although I don't remember everything from the show, I probably did follow several plot points as per canon (because they were the best choices!).
Although getting Ensign-4-life Harry Kim killed I'm pretty sure wasn't in the script.
Oops!
Anyway. You like Trek? You like survival management? You might like this too!
There's a demo.
