Ok, this one's a tough one. I like where it's going in terms of style and gameplay, but it's lacking some juice. The style is very reminiscent of Killer 7, low poly, harsh lighting, cell-shaded, but gameplay is nothing like. From the demo the game appears to be a boss rush, which I'm down for, with parry-focused hack and slash combat, which I'm also down for. The interesting mechanic is that the enemy doesn't have a life bar; instead there's a single bar that goes down when you're hit and up when you hit. You win by filling the bar. I like it. It has the rally nudge towards aggressive play when you're "low on health" and give fights a good flow. But the game is lacking in terms of solid animations and sound.
