Why does this page look different?
We're in the process of merging Giant Bomb game entries to IGDB entries. This is an older Giant Bomb page. It's safe to use, and all data will eventually be moved to the corresponding IGDB entry.
The 2nd PC DLC for Fallout 3. This time, takes you to the slave town of Pittsburgh, PA - also known as THE PITT. When you arrive, you quickly learn why that nickname has been given. Will you be the savior or the destroyer of the town?
I had higher hopes for this one, since I remember really liking it when it came out. I love (looove) prisons in games for some reason (probably why I give Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay so many passes). I remember the story having a great grey area sort of feel and, while it does, it ends abruptly and never really properly manifests. The scope of The Pitt is too narrow, and I feel as though more was planned but cut (for example, there are a number of named characters in the Uptown area who have a bit of unique dialogue, but nothing else. In fact, the entire Uptown area is wasted). This is probably my favorite Falout 3 DLC so far, but that's a low bar to clear for me. Next up, my final act in Fallout 3...The Broken Steel DLC.
