The Sims 4: Get Together is the The Sims 4's 2nd expansion pack, retailing at $39.99 and aiming to recapture the likes of The Sims 2: Nightlife, some aspects from The Sims 2: Free Time and The Sims 3: Late Night. It released with a lukewarm rating of 72 on Metacritic and 7.1 from User Reviews.

Get Together's main features are the inclusion of Clubs and a new venue type named 'cafe', as well as a new Neighborhood featuring 24-ish new lots, making it easily the biggest neighborhood we got to date.

Sadly, there's not much to say about the pack as what it offers vs what its predecessors offered is somewhat lackluster:

  • clubs are ways for various Sims to do something together. Any sim can start a new club, deciding the things that are cool to do and things that aren't cool to do (such as painting, eating, grilling and so forth) and seeking likeminded individuals to do them with. You've probably seen videos of people exploiting this gimmick to trap all their club members into a room and have them paint for hours on end in order to make easy money.
  • the new venue lot type is merely a place to sit down and drink coffee or eat a snack, nothing more and nothing less.

The objects included are vaguely resemblant of the news added in The Sims 2: Nightlife but lackluster in their endeavors as they are mostly innocent group games and a DJ Booth.

The pack released with a bunch of (still) unresolved glitches.
