Jeff Wong and Winston Tang are an Aussie indie dev duo based in Sydney and Melbourne. Winston was a founder of Samurai Punk, the indie studio behind the multiplayer classic, Screencheat, as well as other titles such as The American Dream and Roombo: First Blood. Jeff is a pharmacist turned magician turned game developer, who was also a picture-double for Liu Kang in the Mortal Kombat (2021) movie, and has produced games for IPs such as Star Trek: Lower Decks, Power Rangers, and Conan the Barbarian. Times were tough in the industry, and after being hit with layoffs and a studio closure, they teamed up and began prototyping games together, rapidly iterating on new ideas until their shared love of movies and game development gave birth to Acting Out, an online multiplayer game about making movies with your friends.
