Review V1CGaming 3/5 · Feb 20, 2022

Kind of game you love or hate.

Steep learning curve but once you learn the basics it's fun from there. A few odd things in gameplay but no other game offers what this one does.

10/24/2012: 5/5 For mature and serious gamers. Very high amount of risk in this game(you get blown up, you lose your shiny ship, and hopefully you insured it). Learning curve is very high compared to today's MMOs. You control your own destiny and set your end game goals. Nobody is going to point what you have to do next. So far, all the players I have met are adults; the youngest people being college students. The population of EVE throughout these years has been about the same, increasing slowly, no sign of decline, that's another reason why I got the game.

I've been tracking this game ever since they launched in 03'and subbed in Aug. 2012. I recommend STRONGLY to try out the trial ( I have 21 day buddy invites if you need) before getting this game to see if this is for you.

Graphics are stunningly beautiful, gameplay is much different from other games of the same genre, and there's endless possibilities on what you can do (exploration, mining, faction pvp, piracy(ganking noobs), manufacturing, planetary interaction, PvE Incursions, etc. At this time, CCP(the developer) is about to implement DUST 514(console shooting game in EVE universe, targetted for more younger/casual audience, which will revamp planetary interaction) with EVE Online very soon, so they will be setting a milestone in the gaming industry. I can't wait to do some Orbital Bombardments on them > :D
