Emotional impact
This had it on me.
This scratched a weirdly specific itch for me, being oddly relevant to things I was thinking about and going through in life, hence the rating. I can't honestly recommend this to most people: between the spoilers, the genre-familiarity/unfamiliarity, and the... uh... low-budget visuals, this game might not be great for you.
