The game that started everything for me. It sparked my obsession with horror games back when I was a teenager, although it doesn't mean they don't scare me. They do, a lot. But I still love playing them.
I still remember my impression when I saw that iconic first zombie. This time around, I laughed! It was a nostalgic laugh, as with most of the game.
The dialogue is horrible and the controls super clunky (but that's what makes it a classic RE game), but it still has a dear spot in my heart.
For its time, the game was innovative and the atmosphere perfect with the synthesizer music, camera angles, and the monster around the corner that you can't see until you bump into it.
Still very entertaining for me, even after the first time I played it 17 years ago.
The best part: the mirror reflections! It even scared me once! I mean, for a ps one game, to even havr reflections, that it something right?🤔
