I give it four stars for the arcade titles alone. Asteroids, Centipede, Millipede, Missile Command, Tempest and Crystal Castles are all stone cold classics that you can play even today and have a great time. You also get some lesser known solid arcade hits like Black Widow, Major Havoc, Gravitar and Space Duel.

I give it four stars for the arcade titles alone. Asteroids, Centipede, Millipede, Missile Command, Tempest and Crystal Castles are all stone cold classics that you can play even today and have a great time. You also get some lesser known solid arcade hits like Black Widow, Major Havoc, Gravitar and Space Duel.
I give the remainder of the collection two stars. Some great arcade titles are missing including Battle Zone and Food Fight! Some of the very early arcade titles are so primitive and tough to play, like Breakout and Pong, even if they hold significant historical context.
Also, the collection includes a bunch of Atari 2600 and 5200 games. Tried as a could, I just couldn't enjoy these games. The one I was interested in, Pitfall, wasn't included as it was made by Activision. I would have rather had some of the mid 80s games like Marble Madness, Paperboy and Super Sprint in place of these games.
Overall, some very fun games, but a lot of games that you'll likely never touch.
